
Timberwise approached Wattage Media in March 2018, interested in developing a bespoke landing page template for new marketing campaigns to promote their basement waterproofing & conversion services.
Timberwise are the UK’s largest family-run specialist property care and preservation company, working with domestic and commercial customers nationwide. Based in Cheshire, the company has over 50 years of experience and holds a range of industry accreditations for their focus on quality.

The client provided examples of competitor websites which they had taken inspiration from, as well as links to their own previous landing pages. With this, Wattage Media designed a landing page wireframe which proposed a carefully crafted layout of headings, use of large imagery and call to action fields such as a ‘callback form’ which would work via Gravity Forms – the plugin already used by Timberwise across their website.
We had a ‘blank canvas’ to create a modern style for the landing page so opted to retain the strong ‘red and blue’ brand colours whilst including subtle design additions, to differentiate their landing page as being ‘basement services’ specific.
Following design revisions, we then developed the landing page template as a ‘WordPress page template’ which worked seamlessly with the client’s existing website, already consisting of 150+ individual pages. By providing the client with a WordPress solution, they have benefitted immensely with the ability for the Timberwise marketing team to use the template and since develop several further landing pages, adapting the content & style as required.
