Helping a Liverpool-based college with a WordPress website design migration, saving them £200+ in premium plugin fees and ensuring a seamless process!
Amanda approached us in April 2025 for some help… After an initial call and free review of the current website set-up, we were able to provide technical support in migrating their new website and making sure everything was in order for them.
Two years ago, we built a new website for Greenbank College. We did this in-house to keep costs down, but we then had to find a professional web development company with the experience and technical know-how to help us push our staging site to production. That is when we found Wattage Media. As soon as we explained the service that we needed, Jack immediately understood our needs, reached out straight away and gave us a quote and a timeframe for completion. The entire migration process was very fast, totally smooth and stress-free. In fact, it was enjoyable. There has not been a single hitch or glitch and the communication with Wattage Media has been fantastic from the start to the finish. We will be definitely be using their services again for another web project!
Greenbank College provides education and training opportunities for students, based in Liverpool.
Over 2 years, they had built their own new college website on a staging platform – using a WordPress plugin. After lot’s of hard work and inhouse testing/approvals, they were ready to go live but needed some technical support to make this happen.
Following an initial phone call, we were happy to help! This involved taking an initial look at the website set-up, before planning the most efficient website migration option for the college. Whilst they had planned t0 use a premium plugin costing £200+, we were able to save them that expense and migrate the WordPress files and database manually (also ensuring a better result, with nothing lost in translation through 3rd party plugins!).
We offered to carry out the migration during Easter weekend, to minimise any downtime and we had it all complete within a day. Overall, they were very happy with how everything ran and left a lovely Google review for us (which you can see below).
