As previous members of the ‘Prompt Payment Code’ created by the Small Business Commissioner, we were pleased to apply for the new ‘Fair Payment Awards’ in 2025.
To win Gold, you have to prove that you pay at least 95% of all invoices within 30 days – something we take seriously when working with our trusted suppliers.

The Fair Payment Code is an industry scheme, run by the Office of the Small Business Commissioner.
With so many small businesses feeling the impact of cashflow problems when invoices aren’t paid on time, the scheme aims to support commitment to fair and consistent payment terms.
The award lasts for two years and you then re-apply, meaning you can be sure that signatories are held to account by a Government team.
If you do business with any ‘Fair Payment Code’ signatory and they do not meet the payment terms outlined, you can raise concerns by contacting the Small Business Commissioner.
The ‘Fair Payment Awards’ have taken over from the ‘Prompt Payment Code’ and has seen quite a few changes…
